Excursion - Izmit - Kartepe - Sapanja

1 day: Departure from. Sofia in 20:00h, from Pazardzhik (Shell Pazardzhik on the highway “Thrace”) V 21:00h, from Plovdiv (OMV to the hotel “Saint Petersburg”) V 21:45h. Night transition. Crossing the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing from the Bulgarian side – Kap Kule border crossing on the Turkish side – a short break. Departure to Izmit.

2 day: Arrival in Izmit in the morning. Free time for photos. Tourist program in the city, known as Nicomedia – the most – the old capital of the Roman Empire. Visit to Selim Saru guesthouse, the clock tower and other market free time. Overnight stay.

3 day: Breakfast. Optional departure to Sapanja lake. Exploring Kartepe, which translated from Turkish means “snowy peak”. The resort is located at 2000 meters above sea level. From the Kartepe resort you can enjoy a spectacular view of Lake Sapanja. Free time. Return to Izmit. Free time for dinner. Overnight stay.

4 day .Breakfast. Optional visit to the Park “Ormania” and the Hobbit village or Ormanköy in Turkish. The park was created in the Kocaeli region. There is a zoo in the park, pedestrian, cycling routes, special camping spot, but most – the popular landmark remains the Hobbit houses (miniature wooden houses, reminiscent of the fantasy world of magical life). Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

5 day: Breakfast. Departure to Edirne, visit to the city center. Departure for Bulgaria. Arrival late evening.
