Free time for walking and shopping or to try the local delicious delicacies. IN 12:30h we board the ship again and set sail for our next beautiful stop – Patmos Island. The holiest island in the Aegean Sea is revered by the entire Christian world because of the preserved cave, in which St. John the Theologian received his enlightenment and wrote the last book of the New Testament “Revelation of John”. 4-th day Wednesday The new morning finds us on the island of Rhodes (07:00h – 18:00h) – the easternmost island in Greece from the Aegean Sea, and the most interesting with its arrowhead shape. We are heading to ancient Ephesus, famous for the Temple of Artemis – one of the 7 wonders, completed in 550 BC. Ephesus is one of the most famous cities of antiquity, knew the power of the Ionians, Lydians, Persians, Romans and Turks. We will explore part of the archaeological complex and get an idea of ​​the splendor of the ancient city. We will instantly recognize the iconic Celsius Library, The Gate of Augustus, The Agora, Odeon, Hadrian's Temple, The theater, the houses of the aristocracy. We head to the House of the Virgin Mary. It is considered, that it was the last home of the mother of Jesus, where she lived with Saint John the Theologian, who took care of her. Three popes have visited this place.
