1 Day Sofia – Kavala
Departure from square. "Well. Nevsky" in 6: 00 hours on the Sofia route – Promakhon – Ceres – Amphipolis – Amolofi.
Crossing the border points. Arrival in Amolofi – an oasis among the vineyards, with a long sandbar, crystal clear water and dining options, drinks and lots of music. Free time for the beach. Accommodation at Nefeli Hotel, located on the coastal boulevard in Kavala after 18.00 h. Free time for a walk: The church "St. Nicholas ", The port, Camares Aqueduct – completed during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent, Muhammad Ali Monument and House, The fortress, The church "St. Mother of God", etc.. Possibility of dinner. Overnight stay.
2 Kavala Day – Keramoti – island of Thassos
Breakfast. Optional trip to Keramoti and Thassos island for beach or walk. Arrival in Keramoti, beautifully situated on a small peninsula, created by the sediments of the river. Nestos (Places) for millions of years – directly touched by God, Keramoti is immersed in greenery and surrounded by a cedar grove, and a gorgeous beach of fine sand, called Amoglosa (sandy tongue ). At least it's wide 80 – 100 m and a long goal 14 km. For those who wish to stay for the beach, will return back to Kavala in the evening, with those returning from the island of Thassos. The rest continue by ferry / around 30 / i. for the island of Thassos.
Arrival in the capital Limenas. Those wishing to stay on the beach and have lunch, in one of the many taverns, located on the central street of the capital. The bus continues for a panoramic tour of the island: Visit to shop and workshop for silver and gold jewelry "Iris". Visit to the Monastery "Saint Michael the Archangel" beautifully located on the rocks above the sea, where one of the holy nails with which Christ was nailed to the cross is stored in the old monastery church. Passing Aliki – bay of sirens. We continue to the old capital of Panagia, with a walk through the old winding streets, that will take you years back in time. Snow-white houses with stone roofs and characteristic balconies, natural springs of pure mountain water. The main attractions are the "Panagia" church (prvd. Holy Mother of God), in which is kept the personal banner of King Richard the Lionheart. Visit to an old olive oil factory, with an interesting talk about its production and the possibility of purchases. We continue to the capital Limenas. Walk and free time for photos. Departure back by ferry to Keramoti.
We gather with the rest of the group and continue to Kavala. Free time. Overnight stay.
3 Day of Kavala – Her Iraklica – Sofia
Breakfast. Check out the hotel. Beach in Nea Iraklitsa – a nice resort, located around a bay, with many taverns, cafes and a sandy beach. After lunch departure for Bulgaria. Roadside stop for recent purchases. Arrival in Sofia in the evening.
