Lake Matka – Skopje

Departure from Sofia in 7.00 h. from st. Oborishte and pl. Alexander Nevsky. Around noon, arrival at Lake Matka - the artificial lake, located in the canyon of the river. Tresca is one of the most beautiful places in Macedonia. It is surrounded by steep cliffs, among which are hidden medieval churches and monasteries, as well as St. Andrew's Monastery, built in 1389 Mr. from Andrey, the second son of King Valkashin.
